Doyle’s Sports Bar, Commercial Road
Just a 10 minute walk from our No.1 Station Approach student accommodation in Hereford, Doyle’s Sports Bar is a perfect all-rounder for sports fans and foodies alike. With multiple big screens across the venue, they show plenty of football and other live sports – and there’s a beer garden for sunny days too!
Grandstand, Grandstand Road
Part of the Hungry Horse chain, Grandstand is a great one for bargain drinks and food while watching the football – they show a wide range of live matches across Sky Sports and TNT, so there’s plenty to choose from. They also offer a matchday discount, which you can access through the Greene King app. Grandstand is around a half an hour walk away from No.1 Station Approach, or 8 minutes if you split a taxi with our flatmates…
Hogarth’s, Commercial Road
Another venue just a 10 minute walk from our Hereford student accommodation, Hogarth’s is one for those who love to combine football and gin. With over 120 different gin brands on offer and multiple TV screens showing all major live sporting events, it’s also only a 5 minute walk from the train station if you have friends or family coming to visit at weekends!
Queen’s Arms, Broad Street
If you’re looking for a friendly, traditional little pub to watch football in Hereford, the Queen’s Arms is a great option. They have Sky Sports, run regular drinks offers, and even host karaoke nights if you’re wanting to really make a night of it… The pub is also just a 20 minute walk from No.1 Station Approach.
The Rose & Crown, Lebury Road
Another Greene King venue that accepts the matchday discount offer, Rose & Crown is just a 20 minute walk from our Hereford student accommodation. With both Sky Sports and TNT Sports, there’s guaranteed to be some good football on to watch…
